Bright cherry red.

Scent

Dark red fruit and cherries mixed with a hint of grapefruit, mineral nuances, and elegant toasting.

Palate

The wine is medium bodied and silky with dark red fruit flavors. The palate is elegant and marked by a good balance of fruit and tannins. The use of oak is very discreet. The finish is long with a fresh acidity.

Vineyards

50-year-old goblet-trained sustainably farmed vines located in Rioja Alavesa

Variety

80% Tempranillo and 20% Graciano.

Harvest

Manual in late September.

Fermentation

Cold maceration for two days. Spontaneous fermentation in small stainless-steel tanks.

Malolactic

Spontaneous in second year oak barrels.

Ageing

14 months in French and American oak barrels.
