The Winery
In 1999 we founded Más Que Vinos, our wine consulting company, working for wineries such as Valduero, Remírez de Ganuza, Alvear, Valserrano and Barón de Ley.
At the same time we began our own project making our first Ercavio wines with grapes from the old family vineyards in Gonzalo's hometown, Dosbarrios, in the province of Toledo.
We restored the historic family winery of 1851 called "La Plazuela”, with its emblematic tinajas (clay amphorae) and it is here where we age our flagship wine La Plazuela.
In 2007 we opened our new cellar in the village of Cabañas de Yepes, a few kilometers from Dosbarrios. All our wines are made and aged here with special care and dedication surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.

Our conviction and dedication is based on contributing as much as possible to help preserve and improve our planet, the environment and our society. Our wines bear testimony to this environmental and social commitment.
Bodegas Más Que Vinos is among the first wineries in Spain to receive the Wineries for Climate Protection certificate created by the Spanish Wine Federation (FEV). It is currently the first and only specific certification of environmental sustainability for the wine sector and aims to become the international benchmark in winemaking and the environment.
