Our vineyards: the origin of our wines
Our vineyards are located on the Meseta de Ocaña (Toledo), at an altitude of 750 meters, on the family finca “El Horcajo”, very close to the winery and divided into various plots: La Madre (Cencibel and Garnacha), El Señorito (Cencibel), Las Laderas (Cencibel), El Pozo (Cencibel), Alto de las lechuzas (Garnacha) and Los Candados (Malvar).
Our oldest bush vines of Airén and Cencibel, some more than 80 years old, are located in the neighboring villages of Dosbarrios, Cabañas de Yepes, Villatobas and Villarrubia.
All our vineyards are farmed organically, manually and without irrigation. The soils are calcareous, with some clay and gypsum.
