Garnacha & Tempranillo. Classic carbonic maceration.

Tasting

Colour

Vivid pomegranate red.

Scent

The nose is marked by fruity aromas of fresh licorice, blackberry liqueur and nuances of raspberry.

Palate

Fruity and juicy with medium body and primary red fruit flavors, soft tannins.

Temperature

12-16ºC. Serve chilled.

Pairing

Pâtés, cold cuts, salads with nuts, mushrooms, pasta dishes, grilled meat.

Vineyards

The grapes grow in our organically farmed vineyard “La Madre” located on our finca El Horcajo at 750 meters above sea level.

Variety

70% Garnacha and 30% Tempranillo (Cencibel).

Harvest

Manual in September.

Fermentation

Whole bunches of grapes ferment spontaneously as a carbonic maceration in an open stainless-steel tank and are pressed by foot using only the core, the “Corazón” fraction for this wine.

Malolactic

Spontaneous in cement amphora.

November 2024.
