In tribute to its 25th anniversary, Bodegas Más que Vinos presents the new image of the Ercavio range.
The labels of the new Ercavio wines are inspired by the painting "La Cepa Eléctrica" by the Riojan painter José Uríszar.
The year 2024 is a special year for us at Bodegas Más Que Vinos.
It is our 25th anniversary and we commemorate it with the new design of the labels of our Ercavio wines, the wine with which we began our journey as winemakers here on the Meseta de Ocaña.
It was thanks to the good reception of this first Ercavio Tempranillo Roble in 1999 that our small project began to grow and little by little we were able to add new members to the Ercavio family: Ercavio young and Selección Limitada, Ercavio white and rosé.
The 2001 vintage saw the birth of "La Plazuela", an exceptional and unique wine, the first wine of our special editions, which have been joined by, among others: La Malvar de Más Que Vinos, Viña el Señorito de Ercavio and La Garnacha de la Madre.
25 years later we have a wide range of wines, each one special and with its own history. We owe it all to the first Ercavio in 1999.
For this reason we have decided to pay tribute to it and with the help of our great friend from La Rioja, the painter José Uríszar, we present today the new image of our Ercavio wines.
Based on our old vines, some of which are hundreds of years old, each with its own unique shape, true sculptures of nature, Jose painted the picture that is the basis for the new Ercavio Viñas de Meseta label: "La Cepa Eléctrica", the original of which can be found in our winery.
We have adapted this painting to the other Ercavio wines, following the same colours as always. The electric vine is a reflection of the incredible vines that, for decades, have been living in an extreme climate, here in our high plateau, under our infinite sky, and year after year they bring us the good fruit to make our wines.
