The "Wineries for Climate Protection" Certificate created by the Spanish Wine Federation (FEV) is the first and only specific environmental sustainability certification for the wine sector and aims to become the international benchmark in winemaking and the environment.
Bodegas Más Que Vinos is among the first 60 wineries in Spain that have received it.
At a time when climate change is having dramatic effects on each of us on this planet, we wanted to solidify our commitment as an environmentally sustainable winery.
After undergoing a comprehensive evaluation, we were awarded certification based on four key areas: reduction of greenhouse gases, mainly CO2 emissions (based on the three Rs: reduce, reuse and recycle), water management, reduction waste, energy efficiency and renewable energy.

Among many other important factors to meet the criteria, we have our own water treatment plant that was installed at the beginning of the winery, we collect rainwater, we reuse and recycle raw materials to reduce our carbon footprint, and we have installed solar panels for our power supply.
To maintain the certificate we must strive to constantly improve within the areas mentioned above. In addition, as of January 2023, the certification has been expanded to include the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) adopted by the UN, as well as the clause for biodiversity and land use within the environmental sector.
Our conviction and dedication at Bodegas Más Que Vinos is based on contributing as much as possible to help preserve and improve our planet, the environment and our society. Each member of our winery is aware that every detail counts and is committed to contributing to protect, save and continually improve our habitat.
