D.O. Montes de Toledo
Our EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL is made from olives of our century year old olive trees of the variety Cornicabra, which is native in the region of Toledo.
The olives are harvested manually in December. Due to the old age of the trees, the production is very limited.
After a strict selection the olives are carefully cold pressed and the oil is bottled without prior filtration.
The oil does not contain any additives or preservatives. Due to its low acidity and its aromatic fruity-spicy complexity it is ideal with bread, any kind of salad, rice, pasta as well as fish and meat dishes. For its conservation direct sunlight should be avoided and it should best be stored cool.
7.5 kilos of olives are needed for 1 liter of oil.
Sediments may appear due to the natural production.
