At the end of August, with the first light of dawn and with already cool nights, we began picking our Cencibel (Tempranillo) with an alcohol content of 12 degrees: perfect for our fresh rosés. In September our old Cencibel vines, with their remarkable quality gave us grapes of a unique character.
The low yields, so typical of these old bush- vines, filled us with satisfaction, ensuring wines with depth and soul.
Towards the middle of the month we got some rain that, far from altering the quality, prepared the ground for the harvest of our Garnacha, Malvar and Airén. With these healthy and well-balanced grapes, our harvest came to a successful end during the last September days. Despite some late frosts in April, which slightly affected our El Señorito vineyard, the overall result is remarkable.
Balanced wines await us, with freshness and a vibrant expression and complexity. 2024 was a harvest filled with satisfaction, future bottled promises, to be uncorked and enjoyed with you when the time comes!
Now, with the wines fermenting in cement amphorae, tinajas and barrels, we are preparing the launch of the first wines this autumn, with a date marked for mid November with the release of our new Primeur: 31. Noviembre 2024.
